Our annual fundraiser and membership drive

Duke Park neighbors and friends, every year as part of our annual fundraiser, the Duke Park Neighborhood Association lights the perimeter of our beloved Duke Park with luminarias (those little candles in white bags with sand), surrounding the park and most of the pathways. Our Night of Lights is definitely an evening to stroll to Duke Park and take in the beauty of our neighborhood.
Sale Dates, locations & times:
December 7th 11AM - 4PM @ 1408 N. Mangum St.
December 14th 11AM - 3:30PM @ 405 E. Markham Ave.
Kits cost $8 and consist of 10 bags, candles & sand. Two for $15. Sand pickup is at the sand pile on the empty lot of 1707 Shawnee St. behind 405 E. Markham Ave. – please bring a container. There will be some scoops & a measuring bucket on hand.
In keeping with the spirit of the holiday, we will hold a non-perishable food drive.Donations of canned food, checks, or cash can be brought to the sale sites or to Duke Park on Dec. 14th.
Duke Park Neighbors, please come out and support your neighborhood association by joining in the Duke Park Night of Lights and food drive and renewing your membership.
DPNA membership fees: $5 singles & seniors, $10 family/household.
